Langoustines (Norwegian lobsters) are preserved and transported to the next unit and cooled there, before being transported further.
Langoustine manual sorting and packaging aboard a fishing vessel is a tremendously labour-intensive process. By automating the preservation and cooling process, the labour intensity on board has been reduced.
