VCU Robotics has supplied Vishandel Klooster with a test filleting table that supports the filleting, processing, and packaging of fish.
Two employees fillet the fish at the first workstations. The waste is discharged through a chute, while the fillets are transported via a conveyor belt to the next workstation. Here, the fillets are further processed, portioned by weight, and packaged in trays.
The test filleting table is equipped with sensors and automatic conveyor control. When product is detected, the conveyor moves to the next workstation. This ensures the fillets remain available for the next processing step and creates a steady product flow.
In addition, the workstations can be arranged flexibly. Cutting boards, scales, crates, and storage areas can be adapted to the employee’s working style. This ensures a practical and ergonomic workspace.
With this test setup, VCU Robotics has provided Vishandel Klooster with a flexible foundation for further optimizing the filleting process. This allows operations to flow more efficiently, improves product throughput, and enables further automation of the process.
