VCU Robotics is developing an automation concept for Vishandel Klooster for the filleting and packaging of mackerel, trout, and eel.
The layout brings together various workstations around a central conveyor line. This allows employees to efficiently fillet, portion, and package the fish, while products are conveyed in a controlled manner to the next processing step.
A separate zone is provided for filleting, portioning, and packaging eel. Mackerel and trout are filleted and packaged in their own section of the line. The layout is designed to keep the product flow organized and to better coordinate the work processes.
With this concept, VCU Robotics is developing a practical foundation for a more efficient production process at Vishandel Klooster. The solution helps organize tasks logically, improve throughput, and provide room for further automation.
