Salmon Fillet Line Korf Vis

VCU Robotics made a significant contribution to the implementation of a new salmon filleting line for Korf Vis BV. We supplied various machines and conveyor systems that together ensure an efficient and well-organized product flow.

The process begins at a head-removal machine, where the salmon is fed in. From this point, our reversing conveyor ensures that the salmon is properly directed toward the filleting machine. This ensures a smooth transition from the head-removal machine to the rest of the filleting process.

The salmon then moves to our trimming table. Here, the product can be inspected and further trimmed as needed. Next, our push bar automatically distributes the salmon across the various lanes, ensuring the product flow is well-regulated.

In addition, we supplied two pinbone tables. Here, the salmon can be further processed and inspected for any remaining bones. After this step, the salmon is transported via our packing conveyor to the packaging process.

Connecting all these components creates an efficient and well-organized production line. The various machines integrate seamlessly, reducing the need for manual intervention and ensuring the salmon is transported through the line in a controlled manner.

With this project, VCU Robotics has once again demonstrated our ability to deliver comprehensive, custom solutions for the fish processing industry. From the feed from the head-removal machine to the subsequent transport to the packaging area: all components are designed to work together to create a reliable and efficient product flow.
