VCU Robotics will supply Flatlantic with a complete palletizing solution, consisting of a sorting system and a depalletizer. This will automate the stacking of Styrofoam boxes.
The sorting system ensures that the boxes are fed in the correct manner and in the correct order. The depalletizer then picks up the boxes in half-pallet layers and stacks them precisely onto pallets. The system can process six pallets and is designed for a capacity of fourteen boxes per minute.
By automating both sorting and stacking, the physical strain on employees is significantly reduced. At the same time, a constant and reliable product flow is created, without the need for continuous manual intervention.
With this solution, VCU Robotics has provided Flatlantic with an efficient and scalable automation solution. This results in savings on labor costs, enables further scaling up of production, and ensures that the sorting and stacking process is carried out more safely and consistently.
