VCU Robotics has supplied Norwegian Seafood with a new buffer Tank that connects the depalletizer and the capping machine.
The depalletizer empties the boxes into the buffer tank. The products are then transported from our buffer tank to the capping machine. This creates a constant product flow and allows the depalletizer and capping machine to work together efficiently.
In addition, the buffer tank allows products to be temporarily stored between the depalletizer and the capping machine. This compensates for minor speed differences between the two machines and ensures that the production process continues to run smoothly.
With this solution, VCU Robotics has created a practical and reliable connection between the depalletizer and the capping machine. This further automates the production process and reduces the need for manual operations.
